The SLETP’s Video Sales Service sells VHS copies of a large number of video films on environment, development, health, human rights and social justice issues.

In addition, Sri Lankan video pogrammes, and international programmes versioned into Sinhala and Tamil by the SLETP are also available for sale.

Videos are sold at a cost-recovery price, with subsidies on Sinhala and Tamil films. Discounts are offered to schools and universities, and to Video Library members.

Video copies are made directly from broadcast master tapes. They are then labelled, and packaged in protective plastic covers. The cover sleeve carries production information and a synopsis of contents. Some titles come with notes or leaflets giving additional background information.

Video Sales Service offers the following:

• Sri Lankan productions made by the SLETP
• Sinhala language versions produced by the Project are being distributed in several compilations.
• Several dozen TVE Asia Pacific titles are available -- both as single titles, or in Thematic collections.
